Wrenbury-cum-Frith Parish Council is inviting applications for a part-time Lengthsman
The modern Lengthsman can really make a difference to the community environment by maintaining the cleanliness of the village by litter-picking, emptying bins and inspecting the children’s play area. This contract for services is based on 3 hours work per week and will run for an initial period of one year from 1 April 2019 and then a rolling contract. The rate will be £8.50 per hour. A Lengthsman’s Barrow and Personal Protective Equipment will be provided.

Training will be provided by the current Lengthsman.
The Lengthsman will carry out the following weekly work schedule:
- Empty the litter and dog bins and removal of litter to the Parish trade bin
- Litter picking across the village streets, canal towpath and open spaces
- Inspection of the children’s play area for safety issues
