The Connecting Cheshire Partnership is delighted to announce that work to provide Fibre to the Premise broadband is now complete.

Around 60 premises in the vicinity of CW5 8EF/ED/EE are now able to upgrade from the new fibre network served from the Aston telephone exchange. This is great news for anyone running a business or anyone with multiple devices all requiring internet access. You can work or play – smarter, faster, better – whether from your smartphone, TV, tablet or computer.

Check the Connecting Cheshire website to see if your home or business can be upgraded and then contact your Internet Service Provider or shop around for the best deal and order a fibre broadband service – it doesn’t happen automatically and you could make a saving compared with your current broadband contract! For more see: http://www.connectingcheshire.org.uk/how-to-switch/

Please note as this locality will benefit from fibre to the premise (FTTP) technology, there are a limited number of internet service providers selling FTTP at present – they include BT Retail, PlusNet and Zen, although we expect more providers will join the market as the technology becomes more widely available – this is outside our control and is a commercial decision made by individual ISPs.
