Sound & Wrenbury Area Experimental 7.5t Weight Limit

Posted on - February 24th, 2017

It is proposed that the experimental 7.5t weight limit will come into effect on Friday 24th February, with the implementation of the necessary regulatory signage starting on Monday 20th February. Temporary advanced signs will be placed at the junctions of Swanley Lane / Marsh Lane, Wrenbury Heath Road / Nantwich Road and Whitchurch Road / Sound Lane / Wrenbury Heath Road and New Town Road notifying motorists of the forthcoming weight restriction coming into effect. A legal notice will also be placed in the Crewe and Nantwich Chronicle notifying the public of the proposals. Any representations of support or objection to the proposals can be sent to the Highways service within the first 6 month period of the scheme coming into effect.

It is anticipated that the temporary advance signs will be installed next week in advance of scheme coming into effect on Friday 24th February. I have also attached a copy of the legal order plan showing the roads affected the experimental traffic regulation order for your information and perusal.

Should you have any further queries then please contact either myself or my colleagues Simon Wallace or Fay Price

Kind Regards

Will
