Mere’s and Mosses Landscape Partnership Scheme

Posted on - April 16th, 2013

The Meres and Mosses is an area of international importance covered in lowland peat bogs, one of the most threatened habitats on Earth, and a network of wetlands, the second largest natural network after the Lake
District.

We need Your help to begin a survey of the habitats found across the area.

No initial experience is required. You decide how much time you can give.It is an opportunity to get out and learn more about your local countryside.  You will receive all necessary training. Your contribution however small, is likely to make a very worthwhile contribution to protecting your local environment.

An Introductory social event will be held at The Boat House, Ellesmere on Wednesday 24th April at 6:00pm. (If you can’t make this then get in touch!)
