The Boundary Commission for England has published initial proposals for the 2013 review of parliamentary constituencies and is proposing a reduction of English constituencies from 533 to 502. In the North West 68 constituencies are proposed, a reduction of 7 from the present arrangement.

Wrenbury falls within the new constituency of Winsford which stretches from

the Welsh border in the west to Warmingham in the east,

Winsford, Sandiway and Kelsall in the north to Marbury and Audlem in the south.

Responses to the proposals are required by 5 December 2011.
