Cheshire Railings renovated by volunteers

The Parish Council is very grateful to a group of volunteers, led by Parish Councillors Mel Carrigan and Irene Black, for painting the black and white railings at the corner of Station Road and Nantwich Road.     The group spent several weekends scraping the old paint and rust from the railings before re-painting the traditional Cheshire railings.   Many thanks to all those residents in the Oakfield Avenue area who took part.

The materials were supplied by Cheshire East but the volunteers have saved the Highway Authority a lot of money on labour costs.
