Parish Council Meetings
The Parish Council meets on a monthly basis. Meetings are usually held on the second Thursday of the month. Meetings are currently being held virtually. The May meeting is the Annual meeting, when the Chair and Vice-Chair are elected. Meetings are open to members of the public except during the consideration of confidential items; the reasons for which are as prescribed in the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960.

Annual Parish Meeting
A Parish meeting is held annually, normally in April (except in election years) and gives parishioners the opportunity to raise issues with the Parish Council and other organisations in the parish. This can be done in 2 ways:
By submitting a resolution to be discussed at the Parish Meeting. Written notice of the resolution must be submitted to the Clerk prior to the meeting. If the resolution is passed, the Parish Council is obliged to consider the matter at a subsequent meeting.
By participating in the Open forum and speaking to the Parish Meeting
The Parish meeting is not a meeting of the Parish Council but is called by the Chair of the Council.
The Parish Council encourages local groups and organisations to present a report on their activities at this meeting.
